Instead of melting the butter, Rika cream it with sugar etc. This minor change has brought in good results; the biscuit ingredients combined well and not dry. These cookies are delicious with each bite :) - Jenny

And- yes- this flower is actually edible.
In fact, I had the cookies along with the tea made by steeping these Calendula flowers and mint from our garden. Pure heaven! :-)
